Agricultural firm “Moya Derevnya” is an agricultural company in Oktyabr’skiy rajon of Kurskaya oblast. It was founded on October 26, 2006.
The total farmland area of “Moya Derevnya” Ltd. exceeds 5 thousand hectares, 90% of which is assigned for tillage. The company specializes on cereal crops production and meat and milk livestock breeding, providing its poultry factories and farms with fodder grains.
Under the “Moya Derevnya” Ltd. company’s development program the innovative approaches to plant growing and livestock breeding are being introduced. The firm’s qualified agronomists thoroughly select cereal grains species, giving the preference to the most adapted for the Central Black Earth Region climate. In particular, the changeover to wheat (“Irgina”, “Russo”) and barley (“Vybor”, “Otra”) superelite grain seeds, along with scientific approaches to soil cultivation allowed to raise the crop capacity of the company’s fields to the level exceeding 30 centners per hectare for certain crops. The grains grown in “Moya Derevnya” Ltd. husbandries have outstanding baking capacity. The modern grain cleaning machinery line “Petkus” (Germany) and a new granary ensure the grain separation and safe-keeping of the crops grown.
Agricultural firm “Moya Derevnya” is dynamically developing taking into account the situation on agricultural products market. The new approaches are being introduced into livestock breeding complex organization. In the past year the firm’s livestock population has been significantly replenished with black-and-white heifers (Vologodskaya oblast), whose genetic milking potential is very high. The flock replenishment is accompanied by farm reconstruction and installation of modern equipment: milking complexes, diet feeders, milk coolers. At the present time the livestock population amounts to 2.5 thousand heads.
Under national priority project “Agro-Industrial Complex Development” the “Moya Derevnya” Ltd. firm has a need for investments of over 25 million euros for the following purposes: the mega-farm construction to suit 2400 dairy cows; meat and milk farms and piggery reconstruction, as well as construction of the pasta factory, milk processing shop, modern mill for high quality flour and compound feeds production, sausage factory, and the Dutch concept greenhouses. There is also a pond on a farm complex territory, where the fish can be breeded.
